Add a Project or Excercise
Projects and Exercises are single document activities that allow students to edit Microsoft Office files using Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel-live, in the Office application. Student results are automatically graded and annotated with point focus feedback, student result documents are automatically upload into SNAP for instructor review. Exercises are shorter (8 - 10) steps, each chapter/section will have 2 or more, where Projects are 20 steps or more and cover a single chapter/section.
Login to SNAP 2016
Click Courses and select your course from the list, or, if it is not visible in the quick list, click "All Courses" and find it in the complete listing of your courses.
Go to your course assignments page.
Find and launch the SNAP Connect Admin Tool, typically located at the bottom and only visible to instructors.
Under course administration, click "Turn editing on".
Click "Add an activity or resource" under the heading you would like your project or exercise to appear in.
Select Project/Exercise, scroll down, and click add.
Locate your project or exercise and click "Schedule This"
Apply your desired settings to the project/exercise. You can adjust things like allowing repeated attempts, adding a time limit, and other settings. When you're done, click "Save and return to course".
